CyberCX is committed to growing the number of women in the cyber security industry by:
- promoting the uptake of women entering, continuing and leading in Australia’s security industry,
- supporting women on their career journey, and inspire women to pursue a career in security, and
- helping build the Australian pipeline of talented security professionals.
The CyberCX Women in Cyber Scholarships aim to support female students who have an interest in a cyber security career and commencing or continuing their cyber security education in a full time capacity with an Australian university or TAFE.
The scholarship is intended to assist the student with expenses, such as tuition, fees, study resources, which support them to achieve study and education goals.
Up to 12 scholarships will be awarded for the 2021 academic year.
CyberCX will include a paid internship (two days a week) in the second half of the year to provide work experience and mentoring opportunities for the student to help round out their knowledge with hands on experience.
